Pictures on the coins: Tuatara Lizard, Māori koruru mask and the chief Pukaki of Ngāti Whakaue iwi (tribe) of Te Arawa. There will be a famous picture of the barque HMS Endeavour (a British Royal Navy research vessel that Lieutenant James Cook commanded to Australia and New Zealand on his first voyage of discovery from 1768 to 1771), and a portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
