10 DIFFERENT COINS FROM THE REPUBLIC OF COLOMBIA. Collectible coins were picked randomly from the numismatic period: República de Colombia (1959-now). Each bag will have different combinations of coins, various dates, and conditions. You will receive Colombian coins from 1 centavo to 50 centavos, 1, 50, or 1000 pesos (the highest denomination at different periods). 

Various symbols may be found on the Colombian coins, for example, portraits of:

Policarpa Salavarrieta (Neogranadine seamstress who spied for the Revolutionary Forces during the Spanish Reconquista of the Viceroyalty of New Granada. She was captured by Spanish Royalists and ultimately executed for high treason);

José Maria Córdoba (a General of the Colombian army during the Latin American War of independence from Spain);

Indio Chief Calarcá (South American Indian War Chief);

Francisco de Paula Santander (Former President of Colombia);

Simon Bolivar (Former Président de la Grande Colombie, a famed soldier, commander and political leader).

Also, there could be these animals: Spectacled bear, Scarlet macaw (Ara Macao), Glass frog, Loggerhead turtle, or these plants: Frailejón plant, Holy tree of Guacarí, corn cobs, Olives branches. Other symbols: Capitolio Nacional in Bogotá, Poporo Quimbaya (a device used by indigenous cultures in the present and pre-Columbian South America for storage of small amounts of lime produced from burnt and crushed sea-shells), Quimbaya spindle wheel, and so on. Colombian coat of arms and the motto "Liberty and Order".
