10 DIFFERENT COINS FROM THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN STATES. Collectible coins were picked randomly from the numismatic periods: British West Indies dollar (1955-1965) and Dollar (1965-Now). These states are all members of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union and using these coins: Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Various symbols may be found on the coins: Golden Hind (an English galleon best known for her privateering circumnavigation of the globe between 1577 and 1580, captained by Sir Francis Drake. She was originally known as Pelican, but was renamed by Drake mid-voyage in 1578, in honor of his patron, Sir Christopher Hatton, whose crest was a golden 'hind'), and portraits of Queen Elizabeth II (from young to present).
